Beach front 18-hole golf course

On the main island of Efate you will find the Port Vila Golf and Country Club, located on beach front, in Mele Village. This golf and country club is home to a very nice 18-hole championship course, as well as club house and restaurant.

One of the great aspects about this course is that it is ideal for players who are more social in nature as well as those who are serious golfers. As a general rule, you will not find golf carts at this course, but there are plenty of caddies available through the service that provides excellent service.

Vanuatu Golf Open

The course is home to an annual New South Wales PGA sanctioned competition, the Vanuatu Golf Open. The competition is typically held during the month of July and is open to professionals as well as amateurs from other countries.

The surrounding bush and ocean views create a golfing experience that is second to none. Visitors to Vanuatu are welcome at the club. It is located between the main road and beachfront in Mele village, next door to Worawia resort.
