If you're looking to explore Port Vila, but not one for doing it on
your own two feet, then horseback riding is an excellent option. The Club Hippique Adventure Park provides fun and
exciting horseback rides that allow you to see the rainforests as well as a rare chance to walk through the crystal
blue waters and ride down the white sand beaches.
Erakor Beach Day

The Erakor Beach Day Tour is one option that most will enjoy. The
ride includes a tour through the tropical rainforest and a ride along the white sand beaches of Erakor Beach. You
will also get a BBQ lunch on the beach and have the opportunity to ride bareback through the crystal blue
waters.

Another option, which is ideal for honeymooners, is the Honeymoon
ride. This ride is an evening trail ride for two. You have the chance to see many spectacular views and have a
glass of wine while you watch the sun set on the lagoon frontage.
The Rainforest Ride provides you with a trail ride through the
tropical landscapes of Port Vila and the chance to see and learn about the native flora and fauna of the island.
You'll also get to hear several local custom stories and end the ride with a swim on horseback in a
lagoon.
Club Hippique Adventure Park
The Club Hippique Adventure Park provides an easy ten minute drive
from Port Vila. The location is famous for also
being a horseback riding school, stables and their own riding trails. They have an amazing waterfront location that
is also safe for skiing, swimming and sailing, as well as other water sports.

Although, most come here to ride the horses and it doesn't matter if
you've never ridden a horse before. All levels of riders are catered to and the stables features horses that are
ideal for the beginner as well as the seasoned horseman or horsewoman.
Helmets provided
Safety helmets are provided, but you should plan to wear your own
closed shoes (boots preferable) and long pants. Tours are available Tuesday through Sunday and most trail rides are
about two hours in length. Rates are also very reasonable.
After a day of riding, you'll want to ensure you have a nice hotel to
retire too and rest your tired body. Horseback riding uses more muscles than you would think! You can find
excellent resorts and hotels online.
